Track – Connectivity Details: RV

From the Track – Connectivity page, click RV and double-click an existing connection, the RV Connectivity Details page is displayed. If you click Add, the New RV Connectivity Details page is displayed.

Field/Button Description
Connectivity Name The name you specify for an RV connectivity.
Endpoint Name Type an endpoint name for an RV connectivity, or click to select one.
Note: This field can be changed to Customized User Selection filed, if you change the parameters in the other fields.
Daemon (URL) The syntax is host: port, where:

host is the URL or IP address of the machine on which the Rendezvous daemon runs.

port is the TCP port number.

These values match the ones to which the Substation ES Administration interface is connected.

Default: RV.daemon.url:7500

CHECK Click this button to check whether the RV Daemon URL you have provided is corrected. If the URL is correct, Checked successfully is displayed. Otherwise an error message is displayed.
Network The IP address of your network, if applicable.
Service The UDP service port for the Substation ES Administration interface.

Default: 7555

Rendezvous Subject Names
Jobstep The Rendezvous subject name with which the Tracker Server publishes the message on the related job.

Default: tibtrk.jobstep

Resend The Rendezvous subject name to which the Tracker Server listens for RESEND requests.

Default: tibtrk.resend.request

Alert The Rendezvous subject name to which the Tracker Server sends all alert messages.

Default: tibtrk.usermsg

SYSLOG The Rendezvous subject name to which the Tracker Server publishes all SYSLOG messages of interest.

Default: tibtrk.logmsg

Save Click this button to save a connectivity.
Cancel Click this button to go back to the previous page.
Replicate Click this button to make a copy of a connectivity.
Connect Click this button to apply a connectivity to the Substation ES server. If the connectivity is successful, the connection is applied.
Reset Click this button to cancel the changes you just made.
