Track – Events: Jobs

The Tracker server publishes Rendezvous messages to the tibtrk.jobstep subject at the end of each job step and at the end of the job that the Tracker server is monitoring.

Note: This page is only accessible after you have established a connection to Substation ES. Otherwise a warning page with the message A connection is required before using the function is displayed.
Field/Button Description
Start Click this button to start tracking jobs.
Pause Click this button to stop tracking jobs for a short time.
Stop Click this button to stop tracking jobs.
Track ID A combination of the MVS system and subsystem identifiers of the Tracker server, which publishes the message.
Job Name The MVS JES job name that is of interest to the Tracker server.
Job ID The MVS JES job identifier that is of interest to the Tracker server.
Step Name The step name of the job that is of interest to the Tracker server. If this field is blank, this message is a job-end message.
Step # The counter of a job-step message. If the value is 0, the message is a job-end message.
Status The step or job-end status, for example, Normal End, rc=0.
Type The type of data for this message. The value is either Job end (job-end data) or Step end (step-end data).
CPU The number of CPUs used in 100th of seconds.
EXCP The number of EXCPs issued by the step or job.
Start Time The start time, which is displayed on the job message only.
End Time The end time, which is displayed on all the messages.
ASID Address Space Identifier of the MVS jobs.
Message # The sequence number of the message from the Tracker server.
