Uninstalling in GUI Mode

By using TIBCO Universal Installer to uninstall the product in GUI mode, you can uninstall all or specific products from the selected TIBCO_HOME.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the TIBCO_HOME/tools/universal_installer directory.
  2. Start the uninstallation by using one of the following methods:
    • On Microsoft Windows, double-click TIBCOUniversalInstaller-x86-64.exe.
    • On Linux, run ./TIBCOUniversalInstaller-platform_acronym.bin.
  3. In the TIBCO Installation Manager dialog, select Uninstall Products from a TIBCO Home Location.
  4. In the TIBCO Home Location field, select the TIBCO_HOME in which the product is installed. Click Next.
  5. In the Welcome dialog, click Next.
  6. In the Uninstallation Type dialog, select one of the following uninstallation options, and then click Next.
    • Custom Uninstall

      To remove specific products, select this option, and then go through steps 7 and 9 to complete the uninstallation.

    • Typical Uninstall

      To remove all the products in the selected TIBCO HOME, select this option, and then go through steps 8 and 10 to complete the uninstallation.

  7. If you select Custom Uninstall in step 6, in the Product Uninstall Selection dialog, select the products you want to remove, and then click Next.
  8. In the Pre-Uninstall Summary dialog, review the products to be uninstalled, and then click Uninstall.
  9. In the Post Uninstall Summary dialog, click Finish to complete the uninstallation process and exit the installer.
  10. If you have uninstalled all the products in the selected TIBCO HOME, delete the folders in the installation environment and user home to complete the uninstallation.
