On the
Define - Endpoints: Substation page, click
Add or double-click an existing Substation endpoint, and then the
Substation Endpoint Details page is displayed.
The following table describes the items that are available on the
Substation Endpoint Details page:
Item
Description
Name
Type a Substation endpoint name.
Description
Type a short description for the Substation endpoint.
User ID
Type a user ID for logging on to z/OS in uppercase.
Password
Type the password associated with the user ID for logging on to z/OS.
URL
Type the URL of TCP, and the syntax of it is:
host: port
where:
host is the URL or IP address of the machine on which the Substation server runs.
port is the TCP port number.
CHECK
Click this icon to check whether the host URL is valid.
If the host URL is valid, the
Checked successfully message is displayed; otherwise, an error message is displayed.
Use TLS Connection
If you want to perform client authentication, select this check box.
