Nodes and Server Metrics
Charts on the dashboard display the metrics of all available nodes and servers such as member node, cache node, database server, messaging server, and ibi Patterns - Search server. Hovering over a node displays server information. If multiple nodes are available, the chart is divided into multiple parts. You can click each node to view metrics details. The details are displayed in tabular format.
The duration of node statistics (that is to display on the chart) is configured by using the Node Statistics Store Duration
configuration property. By default, the duration is set to 30 minutes. Specify the value in milliseconds.
You must enable the
Node Registration
configuration property in a cluster environment (multiple ibi MDM nodes are running). If you set the value to
true, availability information about each node is updated in the database.
Server Category | Description |
---|---|
Application Server |
Metrics are divided into the following sections:
|
Cache Client and Server |
Metrics about the cache node, its status, cache provider, host name, IP address, up time, CPU usage, and memory details. If you start multiple cache servers, each running cache server is displayed on the chart. |
Note: On a periodical basis, application servers and cache nodes' health are also displayed on the server console, log, or on both. The default value is
CONSOLE . |
|
Database Server |
Metrics about database type, name, its status, version, URL, driver, version, user name, total acquired connections, active connections, the total number of records, and the total number of golden copy records. Shows data source pool information if available on the application server JMX MBean. Warning: On the WildFly application server, you might need to set the
true value for the statistics-enabled property in the standalone.xml file (under <datasources> element) to collect metrics of attributes. |
JMS Server |
Metrics of messaging server details, queues, and topics details.
|
ibi Patterns - Search Server | Details of the ibi Patterns - Search server type (primary or secondary), its status, URL, and the value for the configured server types. |
