Self Relationship between Output Maps
To export or publish related records in the self relationships, you need to create a related output map in that relationship. Only the relationships from either perspective or output maps (related output maps) are considered for publish.
For the earlier version of TIBCO MDM, only the list of relationships specified in the IdentifyRecordVersion and EvaluateSubset activities of the synchronization workflow ((wfin26catsynchv7.xml) ) were considered to publish related records and relationship information. The specified relationship list is ignored. You do not need to add the relationship name in the synchronization workflow to export related records. On the contrary, create a related output map in the self relationship because earlier such output map did not exist and the same output map on a repository was used to output self relationships.
Run the following script: $MQ_HOME/db/dbtype/migration/Migrate83_90/alterForSelfOutputMaps.sql
- to support out-of-the-box self relationships between output maps for the existing metadata
- to add self related output maps to the repository that contains self active relationships
