Each business has its own unique data with different hierarchical relationships. Managing and presenting this hierarchical data is key to each business and a core aspect of master data management. Product hierarchies and categories, customer hierarchies, organization structure, and market segments are a few examples of master data hierarchies.
TIBCO MDM deals with hierarchical data, starting with designing repository data model to maintaining data records. Records are spread across multiple repositories and linked together with relationships, together forming hierarchical data. This hierarchical MDM data can be further categorized or extended to many static hierarchies for purposes such as better visualization, faster search, and reporting.
