Limitations of Big Data Import

The following features or components do not work with big data import:
  • Multiple data sources
  • SQL format data sources
  • SQL expressions in mapping
  • Delete records
  • Workflow
  • Rulebase on record bundles
  • Version correction
  • Import with the File Type attribute
  • Cancel operation on the import event

    When the Big Data Import event is cancelled, the event status is changed to Cancelled however, the record processing continues. When the record processing completes , the event status is changed to SUCCESS.

Warning: If one of the TIBCO MDM servers goes down, the import operation is canceled.
Restriction: The big data import feature does not work in TIBCO MDM Containerization.
