Clear Data

From the Clear Data page, you can delete all records from the selected repository. The deleting of records is processed in batches. By default, 100 batch size is defined for the Records Per Asynchronous Call configuration property in the Configurator.

Note: Perform the Clear Data action carefully: you cannot rollback the action.
The following items are deleted during the record clearing process:
  • Principal key, golden copy of records, and product key
  • Data stored in the repository, multivalue, synchronization profile (BCT), and relationship catalog (RCT) tables
  • Relationships
  • Records from the text index, if indexed
  • Cache

From the Clear Data page, you can also get the record count of the selected repository. After you click Get Record Count, the number of confirmed or golden copy records available in the selected repository are displayed in the Number Of Records column.
