Exporting Metadata

Procedure
1. Select the business objects for export as follows:
   Use the export metadata wizard, see Export Metadata Wizard.

   Create an XML file listing the business objects.
2. Export the selected business objects.
   If you use the export metadata wizard approach for selecting the business objects, use the following two ways of exporting:

   • Using UI. See Exporting Metadata Using UI (Wizard Approach).

   • Using Command Line. See Exporting Metadata Using Command Line (Wizard Approach)

   If you use the XML file approach for selecting the business objects, use the following two ways of exporting:

   • Using UI. See Exporting Metadata Using UI (File Approach)

   • Using FileWatcher. See Importing Metadata Using FileWatcher
