Creating Related Records

You can create a related record in the selected relationship by clicking each relationship node.

Procedure
1. Click Browse and Search.
2. Select a repository in which you want to add records and click Graphical Editor.
   The Graphical Editor page is displayed for the selected repository.
   
3. On the relationship canvas, from the Relationship Name list, select a relationship or All Relationships.
   The records with selected relationship hierarchy are displayed in the view mode. 
   • If you select a single relationship, the selected relationship with related record is displayed.
   • If you select All Relationships, multiple level relationships are displayed.
4. Click Edit to modify a record and add related records.
   
   Note: The Edit option is displayed only if you have the Modify permission for the selected repository.
5. On the relationship node, click Create Related Record.
   The Add Related Record window is displayed.
6. Enter record attribute values.
   
7. Click Add Related Record.
   • If the record contains errors, errors are displayed in the error notification. For example, if you do not enter value in the Record ID field and click Add Related Record, the Record ID cannot be empty error is displayed. In this case, if you want ignore errors and add a record with errors, click Continue Add. The Related Record Added Successfully message is displayed and the newly added related record is displayed in the hierarchy.
   • If the record does not contain errors, the newly added related record is displayed in the hierarchy.
8. Click Validate, and then Save and Process or Save.
   The record modification is validated and then saved with newly added related record.
