Synchronization Profile

Synchronization Profile provides a way of extracting information from repositories. As part of the Synchronization Profile definition, you can choose:

• Which records should be extracted
• Which record versions should be included
• Which attributes are to be extracted
• If there are any transformation rules to be applied
• Where the extracted data is to be sent and how

A Synchronization Profile can be setup once and reused again to extract data. The extraction can be initiated using FileWatcher or from the user interface. The data contained in repository is not changed by extraction process. For each extraction, the synchronization history can be maintained and inquired. The extracted data can be a text file or XML message.
