Open Work Item Notifications

You can view notifications of open work items, including timed out work items. The notification icon is displayed on the upper-right corner of the TIBCO MDM UI. A red circle on the notification icon indicates the open and timed out work item notifications.

Click the notification icon to view the count of Open and Timed Out work items. If the number of open work items is greater than 9, the count is displayed as 9+. By default, the notification count is refreshed every 10 seconds. An administrator can change the refresh interval by specifying the Work item Notifications Check Interval configuration property. After clicking the Open or Timed Out option, the selected work items are displayed on the Inbox page. If open work items do not exist for the logged-in user, the notification icon is disabled.

Turn notifications on or off

By default, open work item notifications are turned on. However, an administrator can turn them off by using the Configurator. For information, see "Open Work Item Notification Properties" in TIBCO MDM System Administration.
