Cache Status and TIBCO Patterns Index Entities

On the Component Overview page, you can view the status of cache and index entities of TIBCO Patterns.

Section Name Description
Cache
  • Category: Displays statistics for RECORD and MEMBER cache spaces.
  • Items: Number of record entries in the cache.
  • Hit Count and Miss Count: Count of how many cache items are hit and missed. These attributes measure cache effectiveness.
  • Evictions: Number of records or entries removed from cache using the default cache eviction policy.
  • Actions: Click Clear Cache to clear cache items and capacity.
  • Click the Refresh Cache Data icon to load the latest cache information.
Index Entities Provides status of the index entities related to TIBCO Patterns.
  • Index: Name of the index entity defined in the IndexerConfig.xml file.
  • Entry Count: Number of records indexed in the index entity
  • Average Access Time: Average time required for searching records defined in the index entity.

Upload the IndexerConfig.xml file from the Configuration Viewer in the config directory or deploy it from TIBCO MDM Studio.

Click Re-index, the previously stored data in the index entity is erased and newly added index entities are displayed.

Click the Refresh Patterns Data icon to load the latest indexing information.

Note: To view the average access time of the TIBCO Patterns index entities, change the value of the com.tibco.cim.jmxmonitor.details.enable configuration property to true in the Configurator, and then restart the TIBCO MDM server.
Thesaurus Upload the thesaurus file from the Configuration Viewer to the config/thesaurus directory.

By default, the following files are available: nickname.csv and streets.csv. Click Re-index to load thesaurus into the TIBCO Patterns server.

Tip: Thesaurus is a set of terms and synonyms to be treated as similar when provided in a file.
