Executing the Platform Server Transfer

After the Platform Server transfer definition is saved to the database, you can execute the transfer definition through the Manage Platform Transfers page.

1. Click Management > Platform Transfers > Manage Platform Transfers.
   The Manage Platform Servers page is displayed as shown in the following figure.

   

2. Click the transfer ID of the transfer that you want to execute, and the Update/Execute Platform Server page is displayed.

   In this example, click the T51420000001 link to select the transfer definition that is saved to the TIBCO MFT Command Center database in Adding a Platform Server Transfer Definition.

   

3. Click Execute From Database to execute the Platform Server transfer.

   A message similar to that shown in following figure is displayed:

   

   Note: By clicking Execute From Database, the transfer is pushed out from TIBCO MFT Platform Server for Windows exactly as it is defined. If any changes to the transfer definition are needed, you can edit the fields defined and click Execute to execute the modified transfer without saving the changes to the database. You can also click Update to save the changes to the database.
