Installation Account

To install TIBCO MFT Command Center, you must have appropriate privileges.

Platform	Account Privileges
Microsoft Windows	No special privileges are required if you do not install TIBCO MFT Command Center as a Windows service. You must be an administrator if you install TIBCO MFT Command Center as a Windows service.
UNIX	When installing TIBCO MFT Command Center on a UNIX platform, it is good practice to install TIBCO MFT Command Center under a non-root user. Note: If you need TIBCO MFT Command Center to listen on ports below 1025, you should use the iptables command to redirect requests to these ports to valid TIBCO MFT Command Center ports that are above 1024.
