Adding a User Definition

To execute Platform Server to Platform Server transfers, user definitions for the users that performs the transfers must be added to TIBCO MFT Command Center, and the required rights must be assigned to the users.

1. Click Users > Add User to open the Add User page.
2. Define the necessary parameters.

   In this example, define the User Id filed as PSToPSAdmin, and assign the user with FTAdminRight, FTTransferRight, and UpdateServerRight. With these rights, TIBCO MFT Command Center users can add and manage server definitions, add and execute Platform Server transfers to the TIBCO MFT Command Center database.

   The following figure shows the user configurations of this example:

   

   Note: It is good practice to clear the Change Password at Next Login check box in the Optional Parameters section. When this check box is selected, the user will be forced to change the password at the next login.
3. Click Add to add the user definition to the TIBCO MFT Command Center system.
