Adding a Server Definition

After creating an TIBCO MFT Command Center node, you need to add a server definition for TIBCO MFT Platform Server for Windows to TIBCO MFT Command Center.

Click Severs > Add Server. Fill in the Required Server Information fields, and then expand the Server Credentials section and the Management Options section to add the remote machines login credentials and configure the collection details for this Platform Server.
Note: Assigning the server credentials in the server definition makes them available for all users in TIBCO MFT Command Center. Server credentials can be defined to be used by the specific TIBCO MFT Command Center user accounts through the Add Server Credentials page which can be accessed by clicking Servers > Server Credentials > Add Server Credentials.

The following figure shows the server definition of this example:

In this example, the Manage Platform Server check box is selected and the TIBCO MFT Command Center collector is defined to pull the history records for both initiator and responder transactions that this server performed.

The Collect History parameter is used for the first time the collection service is run against the Platform Server, and then it is cleared. Because in this example it is the first time this collection takes place, the collect history is set to 30 days.

The Collection Interval parameter can be set here to override the collection service default interval of 10 minutes.

After you set the Collect Platform Server History parameter, the following dialog is displayed; click OK.
