Configuring High Availability Using the Admin Pages

During the installation process, Connection Manager installs without high availability. You must use the Command Center admin pages to configure Connection Manager for high availability using the Management --> Connection Manager Nodes pages.

To create a high-availability environment, you must do the following:
  1. Install multiple CMA and CMS Instances.
  2. Configure each Internet Server to connect to multiple CMA instances.
    1. When configuring MFTIS, configure multiple CMA Host and Port by separating the entries with a semi-colon. See "Configure Connection Manager Internet Server" section in the Update Connection Manager Node page.
  3. Configure each CMS to connect to multiple CMA instances.
    1. When Configuring CMS, configure multiple CMA IP Address/Host Name entries. See "Configure Connection Manager Server" section in the Update Connection Manager Node page.
  4. Configure CMA to accept connections from multiple MFTIS and CMS instances. See "Configure Connection Manager Agent" section in the Update Connection Manager Node page.
    • Accept connections from these Internet Servers
    • Accept connections from these CMS IP addresses
