Adding a Server Definition

After adding the user definition to TIBCO MFT Command Center and assigning the user with proper rights, you have to add a server definition for the initiating Platform Server to the TIBCO MFT Command Center system.

Procedure

  1. Click Servers > Add Server.
    The Add Server page is displayed.
  2. Define necessary parameters in the Required Server Information section.

    The following figure shows the configurations in this section for this example:

  3. Define necessary parameters in the Server Credentials section.

    These parameters define the remote machines login credentials to be used when the transfer is initiated.

    Note: Assigning the server credentials in the server definition makes the credentials available for all users in TIBCO MFT Command Center. Server credentials can be defined to be used by specific TIBCO MFT Command Center user accounts through the Add Server Credentials page which can be accessed by clicking Servers > Server Credentials > Add Server Credentials.

    The following figure shows the configurations in this section for this example:

  4. Click Add to add the server definition to the TIBCO MFT Command Center system.
    In this example, a server definition for a TIBCO MFT Platform Server for Windows is added to the TIBCO MFT Command Center system.
