Viewing and Cancelling Active Transfers

On the Command Center, the server must be defined as a Platform Server and should be allowed to manage the server so that you can view active transfers. The server definition can be configured in the Management Options section of the Add Server or Update Server page. On the Platform Server, the node definition for the Command Center must have the CommandCenterSupport parameter set to All or Audit to view active transfers. To cancel active transfers, the node definition for the Command Center must have the CommandCenterSupport parameter set to All, Alter. Alter support is not included in All.

You must have FTAdminRight to view active transfers or FTAdminAlterRight to view and cancel active transfers.

Prerequisites

You can view and cancel active transfers only on Platform Server version 8.1.x or a later version.

Procedure

  1. Click Reports > Active Transfers > Platform Server Transfer, and on the Active Platform Server Transfers page that opens, select a server from the list.
The active transfers for the server are displayed. (When you first open the page, no server is selected and the table is empty.) The list displays the transaction ID, status, type, node, local user, local file, process name and byte count.

  2. Click the transaction ID to display details of the transfers. (The detail page is similar to the audit pages.)

  3. Click Cancel Transfer to cancel a transfer.
