Updating CMA Configuration Information

Procedure

  • When you click SampleCMA in the Connection Manager Nodes List, the Update Connection Manager Node page is displayed with the information entered in the Add Connection Manager Node page.

    • If you want to update the connectivity information for this CMA, click Update.

Update the configuration parameters and click Update Config.
      Note:
      • If you update the New Password field, make sure to update the password in the Update Connection Manager Node page also.
      • Make sure that the Accept Connections from These Internet Servers is configured to accept changes from 127.0.0.1 and ::1, in addition to the IP addresses of the Internet Server instances. Command Center Tests are initiated from the TCP Loopback address (127.0.0.1).
      • When updating Command Center Hosts That Can Manage this CMA, make sure that you correctly define the IP address or subnet of the Command Center. Otherwise, you may be unable to manage the Connection Manager Node through Command Center. If this happens, you must update the configuration XML file described in the “Connection Manager Configuration” section and then manually restart the CMA Server.

    • If you want to retrieve the Connection Manager configuration parameters for the node, click Retrieve Config.
    • If you want to show the status of connections on the CMA, click Get Status. This page also allows you to start and stop the CMA. It also allows you to execute tests to see if connectivity is available to target servers in the internal network.
