MFT Platform Server Post Processing Actions

Post processing actions define the action that should be taken when a transfer completes, either successfully or unsuccessfully. Post processing actions are supported on all Platform Servers. Limited post processing actions are also supported on Internet Servers as well.

  • Up to four post processing actions can be defined.
  • Post processing is defined on the command line or in the transfer process statements.
  • Each post processing action can be executed in the initiator or the responder.
  • Each post processing action can be executed on success or failure.
The following post processing commands are supported:
  • Execute command
  • CALLJCL (MFT Platform Server for z/OS only)
  • CALLPGM (MFT Platform Server for z/OS only)
  • SUBMIT (MFT Platform Server for z/OS only)

Up to 256 bytes of data can be passed to the post processing action. Symbolic parameters can be used to pass transfer related information to the Post Processing data field.
