Appendix E. Installing the Desktop Client

TIBCO MFT Internet Server comes with the new MFT desktop client ClickOnce application. By utilizing the Microsoft ClickOnce technology within the MFT desktop client, you can install, update and run the MFT desktop client with minimal interaction and no administrator requirements.

There are two types of installations offered. The first is full installation where you will install the desktop client program on to your desktop. The other is a cached installation where the desktop client would be initiated each time from your browser. You must choose the one that will work best for your environment.
