To receive various email notifications from many of the MFT features, which can be configured with an email address, it is good practice to configure the IP or host name and port of your email server.
Procedure
Click
Administration > System Configuration to open the
System Configuration page.
In the Global Settings section, configure the following email parameters:
Parameter
Description
Email Host Name
The IP or host name for the email server.
Email Host Port
The host port for your email server.
The port number
25 is used by default. If your server is using a different one, change it.
Sender Email Address
The sender email address used on all emails sent from
TIBCO MFT Internet Server.
Transfer Notification Email URL
The
TIBCO MFT Internet Server IP, host name, or DNS name, which will be used in email messages URL references when a transfer notification email is sent.
SMTP TLS
The TLS/SSL encryption for the SMTP connection.
Trust SMTP SSL Certificates
Defines whether to trust TLS/SSL SMTP certificates.
