TIBCO MFT Internet Server uses two types of certificates. You can use and update the certificates within
TIBCO MFT Command Center.
HTTPS certificate: used for communicating with
TIBCO MFT Internet Server through HTTPS (HTTP over SSL).
Applet certificate: used to sign the JAVA applets used by
TIBCO MFT Internet Server to transfer files.
Note: It is best to create a new keystore for each type of certificate. Most certificate authorities (CA) require separate certificates for HTTPS and Applet signing. You must purchase the correct certificates.
