Supported Functionality in MFT Internet Server

By default, MFT Internet Server supports the following functions:

High Availability (HA). Because MFT configuration information is stored in the database, MFT Internet Server runs HA Active/Active.
High volume. Each Internet Server can run hundreds of concurrent transfers.
LDAP or Database authentication
SAML support
Certificate/Key and/or password authentication
APIs
- REST calls to perform many configuration capabilities.
- SOAP calls to perform most management capabilities.
  Note: SOAP calls have been deprecated and are being replaced by REST calls.
Note: APIs are only available when the admin component of MFT Internet Server is installed.
Logging of all admin changes. Includes before and after images of the changes.
Mailbox capability. Allows you to upload a file to an MFT repository and send an email to the end user. When the end user clicks on a link in the email, they can download the file from the MFT repository (after logging in and being authenticated).
File sharing capability. Users can share directories with other users.
