Enabling FIPS Mode Manually

If you do not enable FIPS mode during TIBCO MFT Internet Server installation, you have to go through the required configurations to enable FIPS 140-2 manually.

Before you begin

To enable FIPS mode, your Java JDK environment must be configured to support FIPS mode.

To put MFT into FIPS mode, perform the following operations:

  1. Setting the Browser to Use TLS
  2. Setting IBM Java Security to Use FIPS Certified Cryptographic Security Provider
  3. Setting the TIBCO MFT Internet Server Environment Variable
