The following features have been added in this release of TIBCO® Managed File Transfer Internet Server.

Support for ICAP Interface to DLP Servers

TIBCO® Managed File Transfer Internet Server now supports ICAP interface to DLP servers.

New Environment Variables

Added the COM_TIBCO_MFT_CE_KEYSTORE_PWD environment variable for the Keystore Password that overrides the keystorePass value in server.xml.

Added new environment variables for the DB Clear Text/B64 encoded passwords.

New File Permissions

You can now set the file permissions so that users cannot update executable files when installing on Windows 10 or 11.

New V5 Calls

  • V5 calls are created for the following services:

    • REST MFT Transfer

    • Admin

    • AdminCC

Two Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication is now added to the MFT login.

Support for New Servers as a Mailbox and FileShare Repository Server

  • You can now use the following servers as a Mailbox and FileShare repository server.

Installation Updates

  • Silent Installation: TIBCO® Managed File Transfer Internet Server now supports silent installation for CMA.

  • Installer: The installer is now updated to simplify the way that the database configuration configures SSL.

  • Express Install: You can now use Express Install to simplify MFT installation in a cloud environment.

New web.xml parameters

  • The following new web.xml parameters are now added in TIBCO MFT.

    • AllowUserDefinedJavaClasses

    • AllowCustomServerDefinition

Support for Random IV

  • To the promotion utility and the command line.

  • During encryption.

Cloud Support for FileShare Mailbox Archiver Server

TIBCO MFT now provides Cloud support for FileShare and Mailbox Archiver server.

New Fields on the Manage Transfers Page

Process Name and User Data are now added to the search criteria fields on the "Manage Transfers" page.

Wildcard Support

Wildcard support is now added to Manage Jobs > Search Criteria > Job Name and Description.

Support to Configure Collector in Active/Passive Mode

You can now configure the Collector in Active/Passive mode when using multiple Command Centers.

Access to Amazon S3 Server

You can now access the Amazon S3 server through VPC Access Point and VPC Interface Endpoint.

New Function in the Admin Page

Add From Existing Group: You can now add existing groups.

Add From Existing Server: You can now add existing servers.

PGP and Protocol Public Key Management: This is added in the User and Server admin pages.

New Email Notification

If a collection request fails, TIBCO MFT now sends an email to notify the recipient that the collection failed.

Support for Proxy

Proxy Support is added for the SharePoint server.

Support for BWCE

TIBCO BW plugin for MFT now supports BWCE.

Support for HTTP Proxy

HTTP Proxy support is added to Google Storage and ADLS Gen2 storage.

Create Event Records

You can now create event records for Mailbox Send File.

Disable Re-Submit

The Re-Submit button is disabled if the admin does not have FTTransferRight.

Rules for Request

With MFT, you can now check the following rules on every request, not just at startup.

  • disable
  • lockout
  • expiration
  • start date
  • end date

Increase in Platform Server's Password Length

The Platform Server's password length is now increased to 64 characters.

Success/Failure Notification Email

Transfer Definition's Success/Failure notification email is now sent to the user that executed the transfer.

Enforcing Password Policy

You can now enforce the password policy when creating MFT system keys.

View Maximum Number of Concurrent Transfers

You can now use TIBCO® Managed File Transfer Internet Server to view the maximum number of concurrent transfers for each day and since the server was last started.

Audit Search

You can now use Audit Search to return up to 1000 records.

Locked-Out Users

Locked-out users are added to the Diagnostics page.

New pDNI Parameter

New pDNI parameters are added to the Create DNI Template page.

User Management

A user is now automatically disabled if the user has not logged into the system for "X" number of days.

New Scheduler Job

A new scheduler job is added to notify the database users when their password is about to expire.
