Sending Files

When you select the Send File Panel option, you can send a file to a remote MFT Platform Server.

1. Enter the command GO CFADM on the command line.
2. In the Administration Main Menu that opens, enter 4 on the command line.
3. In the Data Transfer Menu that opens, enter 1 on the command line.
   Tip: Alternatively, enter the command CFSNDFPNL on the command line.
   The Send File screen is displayed.
   
   

   Press the Page Down key to display the rest of the transfer attributes.

   
   
   Depending on the values you enter in the fields, additional fields are shown. For example,

   • If Platform Option is set to either 1 for z/OS or 2 for Windows, then additional parameters are displayed as shown.
     
     
     
     
     
   • If Post Process is set to *YES, then the additional post processing parameter fields are displayed.
     
     
4. Enter values in the parameter fields as required. For parameter descriptions, see the Send and Receive File Parameters section.
