Security Validation of MFT Platform Server Outgoing Transfer Requests

MFT Platform Server provides a variety of security mechanisms to insure that transfer requests are not made by unauthorized parties.

These mechanisms are controlled by the TIBCO MFT Platform Server for IBM i configuration files. Changes can be placed in two categories:

• Node Configuration File: IBM i Node configuration entries must be made before a transfer request is sent to a remote node. If a transfer request is sent to a MFT Platform Server system that is not defined in the Node Configuration file, the transfer request is rejected.
• User Profile File: IBM i User Profile entries must be made before a transfer request is sent to a remote node. If a transfer request is sent to a MFT Platform Server system that is not defined in the User Profile file, then the transfer request is rejected.
