Security Validation of Incoming MFT Platform Server Transfer Requests
MFT Platform Server provides a security mechanism to insure that transfer requests are not made by unauthorized parties.
This mechanism is controlled by the
TIBCO MFT Platform Server for IBM i configuration files. Changes can be placed in two categories:
- Node validation: TIBCO MFT Platform Server for IBM i can be configured to require a node definition before a transfer request is accepted from a remote node. If a transfer request is received from a MFT Platform Server system that is not defined in the Node Configuration file, the transfer request is rejected.
- Responder User Profile File: TIBCO MFT Platform Server for IBM i Responder User Profile entries must be made before a transfer request is received by a remote node. If a transfer request is received from a MFT Platform Server system is not defined in the Responder User Profile file, then the transfer request is rejected.
