Appendix A: Code Page Conversion

Code Page Conversion (CFCDEPGECV) command uses the IBM Code Page CCSID tables and converts single/double coded character set identifier (CCSID) from a data file on the IBM i system to another single/double coded character set identifier (CCSID).

It then copies or replaces the data to another local IBM i system file. MFT Code Page Conversion command converts ASCII from/to EBCDIC machine code translation.
