MFT Command Center Supports Platform Server Directory Transfer

TIBCO® Managed File Transfer Command Center can perform the following actions on TIBCO MFT Platform Server for IBM i.

The MFT Command Center menu option Platform Transfers has two options Add/Execute Platform Transfer screen and Manage Platform Transfers screen. On the Add/Execute Platform Transfer screen process option, you can create and execute an TIBCO MFT Platform Server for IBM i send file (CFSNDF) directory transfer and receive file (CFRCVF) directory transfer record. On the Manage Platform Transfers screen process option. You can retrieve the Update/Execute Platform Transfer screen. Then you can update, delete, and execute an TIBCO MFT Platform Server for IBM i send file (CFSNDF) directory transfer and receive file (CFRCVF) directory transfer records.

MFT Command Center menu option Platform Transfer supports * and ? wildcards. They have exactly the same meaning on each MFT Platform Server product on an open platform as they do in the MFT Command Center product. For all platforms, * means any number of any symbols in the file name and ? means any one symbol in the file name. MFT Platform Server for IBM i interprets these symbols if they are present in the file name after the last forward slash (/). Any combination and amount of these symbols and alphanumeric characters may be used to narrow down desired files. Entered properly in both MFT Command Center Add/Execute Platform Transfer and Update/Execute Platform Transfer screens, in the Initiator File Name and Responder File Name fields.

MFT Command Center menu option Platform Transfers supports all TIBCO MFT Platform Server for IBM i directory transfer tokens $(SDIR), $(MEMBER), $(LocalFileName), $(RemoteFileName). Entered properly in both MFT Command Center Add/Execute Platform Server and Update/Execute Platform Transfer screens, in the Initiator File Name and Responder File Name fields.

In both the MFT Command Center Add/Execute Platform Server and Update/Execute Platform Transfer screens, there is an Additional Transfer Properties section that contains Platform Transfer setting fields that are important to the TIBCO MFT Platform Server for IBM i directory transfer process.
