Working with User Profile Parameters

You can add, change, copy, delete or display the details of a defined local user profile configured in the system that is directly linked to one of the defined remote MFT Platform Server configured in the Work With Node Configuration Screen. All standard IBM i security is utilized for the user profile's job running on the local location.

Procedure

  1. Enter the following command on the command line: GO CFADM.
  2. On the Administration Main Menu that opens, enter 1 on the command line.
  3. On the Configuration Menu that opens, enter 3 on the command line.
  4. On the User Profile Menu that opens, enter 1 on the command line.
    Tip: Alternativley, enter the command CFWRKPRF on the command line.
    The Work With User Profile Screen is displayed.

  5. Based on your requirement, enter one of the following action options: 1=Add 2=Change 3=Copy 4=Delete 5=Display. You can use the action options to maintain the user profile records. For example, if you enter action option 1 to add a user profile record, the Work With User Profile Screen - Add opens and you can add the details as shown.
