Updating the Audit VSAM Data Set

You have to define and run the DEFAUDIT JCL, and edit the DEFAUDIT member in the JCL library to meet your installation requirements.

If you are upgrading from an earlier version of platform server, you must comment out the following from the DEFAUDIT JCL: 
/*REPRO                    -                    */
/*  INDATASET(MFT.AUDIT.BACKUP) -            */
/*  OUTDATASET(MFT.AUDIT)                    */
If you are creating a new AUDIT data set, you can simply edit the JCL according to your installation requirements. For more information, see Defining the Audit VSAM Data Set.
