Installing on macOS

To install TIBCO Messaging - Bridge for Apache Kafka on macOS, complete these steps.

Procedure

  1. Download the installation package for either the community edition or the enterprise edition.
    Edition Command
    Community Edition 
    TIB_msg-akd-bridge-ce_2.3.x_macosx_x86_64.pkg
    Enterprise Edition 
    TIB_msg-akd-bridge_2.3.x_macosx_x86_64.pkg
  2. Run the installer.
    Double-click the installation package icon, in turn.
    Follow the installation prompts to complete the process. Provide your password if requested.

Result

TIBCO Messaging - Bridge for Apache Kafka is installed in the following location: /opt/tibco/akd/bridge/2.3
