Installing on Linux

Procedure

  1. Download the installation packages.
    Download the packages for either the community edition or the enterprise edition.
    Edition Command
    Community Edition 
    TIB_msg-emd-core-ce_1.0.0_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
    TIB_msg-emd-bridge-ce_1.0.0_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
    Enterprise Edition 
    TIB_msg-emd-core_1.0.0_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
    TIB_msg-emd-bridge_1.0.0_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
  2. Navigate to TIBCO_HOME, TIBCO_HOME is where the TIBCO software is typically installed in /opt/tibco.
  3. Navigate to the install location and then install the archive files for both sub-components of TIBCO® Messaging - Eclipse Mosquitto Distribution using the command: 
    cd ../..
tar xfvz <package-name>

Result

The software is installed in TIBCO_HOME.
