Installing on macOS

Note: Make sure the TIBCO installer is allowed. Click the Apple icon at the top left, then select System Preferences, then Security & Privacy. On the General tab in theAllow apps downloaded from: section, allow the installer.

Installing on macOS in Silent Mode

To silently install TIBCO Messaging Monitor Core on macOS, follow this procedure.

    Procedure

  1. Download the installation package.

    TIB_msgmon_1.1.0_macos_x86_64.pkg

  2. Open a terminal window and navigate to the directory in which the installer archive package is located and install the package.

  3. Switch to the TIB_msgmon_1.1.0_macos_x86_64 directory.

  4. Run the installer silently.

    sudo installer -pkg package_name -target /

  5. Result:
    TIBCO Messaging Monitor Core is installed in the following location: /opt/tibco/msgmon.
    System Monitoring is installed in the following location: /opt/tibco/msgmon/sys.

Installing on macOS

To install TIBCO Messaging Monitor Core on macOS, complete these steps.

    Procedure

  1. Download the installation package.

    TIB_msgmon_1.1.0_macos_x86_64.pkg

  2. Open a terminal window and navigate to the directory in which the installer archive package is located and install the package.

  3. To install MSGMON System Monitoring, double-click TIB_msgmon-sys_1.1.0_macos_x86_64.pkg.

  4. Result:

    TIBCO Messaging Monitor Core is installed in the following location: /opt/tibco/msgmon.

    System Monitoring is installed in the following location: /opt/tibco/msgmon/sys.
