Procedure

  1. Ensure that the appropriate versions of the TIBCO Apache Kafka Distribution and Python are installed.
  2. Download the installation package.
  3. Double-click the installation package icon to run the installer and follow the prompts. Provide your password if requested.

Result

MSGMX is installed in 
/opt/tibco/msgmx/1.0
Installation also creates a symbolic link to that directory from 
/opt/tibco/msgmx/current-version
