To install this product you must have sudo privileges.

Installation Requirements and Packages

TIBCO Messaging Manager software is available for the following Linux operating system distributions:

OS Requirements
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • TIB_msgmx_1.1.0_linux_x86_64.rpm or TIB_msgmx_1.1.0_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
  • Python version 3.6 or later (Ensure that .../python3 is in your command path.)
  • Apache Kafka version 2.2.0 or later
Debian Linux
  • TIB_msgmx_1.1.0_linux_x86_64.deb or TIB_msgmx_1.1.0_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
  • Python version 3.6 or later (Ensure that .../python3 is in your command path.)
  • python3-venv must be installed manually
  • Apache Kafka version 2.2.0 or later
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
  • TIB_msgmx_1.1.0_linux_x86_64.rpm or TIB_msgmx_1.1.0_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
  • Python version 3.6 or later (Ensure that .../python3 is in your command path.)
  • Apache Kafka version 2.2.0 or later
