You can delete a data table definition. There are two methods; the first will create a soft deletion which can be recovered if required. The second method will permanently delete a data table. To delete data tables you must be a data tables manager and have read/write access rights to the data table. Alternatively, administrators and data table administrators have full access to all data tables, irrespective of access rights.
This method will provide a soft deletion and prevent the data table from being accessed. Note that any data table attachments that point to the deleted data table will no longer work. Data tables deleted using this method will not be permanently deleted and can be recovered. See Recover a deleted data table for more information.
1.From the Tools menu choose Data Tables > Data Tables. 2.Click the data table that you want to delete, and then click Delete.
This method will permanently delete a data table. Data tables deleted through this method cannot be retrieved, except via a system restore from a previous backup.
1.From the Tools menu choose Data Tables > Data Tables. 2.From the File menu choose Data Table Recovery Manager. 3.Click the data table that you want to permanently delete, and then click Delete. |
