Create a shortcut

It is recommended that shortcuts are created automatically through a network installation, thereby ensuring that the Windows registry is correctly configured. Once a shortcut has been created it can be made available to users to copy to their desktops.

Note: Creating a shortcut manually may fail if you do not have administrative privileges on the operating system.

To manually create a shortcut:

The shortcut properties should be set as follows:

Description:  TIBCO Nimbus

Target (or Command Line): <program directory>\Ctrl.exe <data directory>

For example:

C:\TIBCO Nimbus\Client\Ctrl.exe "C:\TIBCO Nimbus\Process Repository"

Note: If there are any spaces in the directory paths then you must include inverted commas.
