Setting a Default Language

Initially, the content is not marked with any language. Before adding more languages, you must tell the system, which language you have used for the content that you have already created by setting the default language.

Selecting which language to set as default depends on your requirement. The default language could be the one in which you have already created content or in which you want to create new content.

Note:

•You can add new languages only after you configure a default language.

•You can add a language and then make it default.

Procedure

1.Click the Settings link on the navigation bar and then click Languages.

2.Click the Set default language button.

3.In the Set default language dialog box that opens, select a language from the drop down and click Set default.

Note: You can edit a configured language and set it as the default language. For more information, see the Editing a language section in the Managing Languages topic.
