The REFMAKER tool builds the @CROSSREFERENCE table. The
SEARCH and
CROSSREFSEARCH tools use this table to answer queries about rules callers, table access, signals, exception handlers, and local declarations. To gather all this information for the cross-reference table,
REFMAKER de-translates rules.
You should run REFMAKER after every promotion to keep the cross-reference index current.
If you plan to run REFMAKER in batch mode, all users should be suspended from the system.

The current cross reference index for the library specified is deleted and a new one is built. The library name is stored in the @SEARCHLIBRARY table for use later with the
SEARCH tool.
