Nulls can only be manipulated logically. They cannot be manipulated arithmetically. Attempts to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and so on, result in the NULLVALUE exception.Nulls can be manipulated through the use of the reserved word NULL, which represents a null value. The following table describes where the keyword NULL can be used and the syntax that each context requires:
