Creating a Rulebase

A rulebase is a collection of rules. To add rules to any Hawk agent, you must create a rulebase first.

Procedure

1.

In the TIBCO OI Hawk RedTail UI, open the Hawk Agent page to which you want to add a rulebase. For steps, see Viewing the Agent Details.

On the Agent page, select the Rulebases tab.

All the rulebases for the Hawk agent are displayed on the tab. For details, see Rulebases Tab.

Click the New Rulebase icon () to open the New Rulebase window.

In the New Rulebase window, enter the following details:

Name - A name for the new rulebase.

Description - A brief description about the rulebase.

Schedules - Select the schedule to associate with the rulebase. The rulebase is active only for the inclusion period defined in the selected schedule. You can select the schedules which have been saved/deployed.

5.

Click Create Rulebase.

The newly created Rulebase is listed on the Rulebases tab.
