Editing a Prometheus Metric Job
To edit an existing Prometheus metrics job, perform the following steps:
Procedure

1.

Navigate to Exporters > Prometheus Metrics page. |

2.
|
Go to the Metrics tab and select a job that you want to edit by selecting the Edit option from the Actions column drop down menu. |
|
3.
|
Specify the configuration parameters in the Edit window. |
Note: You cannot change the Job name of the metric while editing.
|
4.
|
Click Update Metric after you have specified the configuration parameters. |
Duplicating a Prometheus Metric Job
To duplicate an existing Prometheus metrics job, perform the following steps:
Procedure

1.

Navigate to Exporters > Prometheus Metrics page. |
|
2.
|
Go to the Metrics tab and select a job that you want to duplicate by selecting the Duplicate option from the Actions column drop down menu. |
|
3.
|
Specify the configuration parameters in the Duplicate window. |
Note: Ensure that the Job Name parameter does not match with the name of the already existing Prometheus metric jobs.
|
4.
|
Click Create Metric after you have specified the configuration parameters. |
