Creating an Oracle Database for the Order Capture System

Create an Oracle database for the Order Capture System by running the provided scripts.

Procedure

Open $OM_HOME/db/dbscripts/oracle/ocs/oracle_ocs_db.properties file in a suitable editor and update the following values:

Property	Update the Value for
`ORCL_HOST`	Oracle database host
`ORCL_PORT`	Oracle port
`ORCL_USERNAME`	Oracle superuser name
`ORCL_PASSWORD`	Oracle superuser password
`ORCL_SERVICENAME`	Service name of the database
`ORCL_OCS_USER`	New ocs user
`ORCL_OCS_PASSWORD`	Password for the ocs user
`ORCL_OCS_TABLESPACE`	ocs tablespace
`ORCL_TABLESPACE_SIZE`	Size of the tablespace
`ORCL_MINSIZE`	Minimum tablespace size
`ORCL_MAXSIZE`	Maximum tablespace size
`ORCL_DATAFILE_PATH`	data file path of Oracle
`IS_CLOUD_PLATFORM`	Default value is false. You need to set it to true if the database is on a cloud platform.
`EXECUTE_DDL_DML_ONLY`	Default value is false. You need to set it to true if you want to execute only DDL/DML.
