Well and seismic spatial data can be added to the map directly from OpenSpirit enabled datastores using the Import from Data Source button. The extension must be connected to OpenSpirit to enable the Import from Data Source tool bar button. Also, your ArcGIS Pro project must have an active map in order to load data.
Choosing the Import from Data Source option will open the Import from OpenSpirit DataSource/Project dialog. Select the desired data source type, data source, and if applicable, project. Then based on what data types are supported in the chosen project you will have a choice of importing well, seismic, or interpretation data. By default all Data Types are selected, un-check the data types that are not required.
Select the OK button to initiate the data import procedure, an information dialog will open displaying the import progress. Layers will be grouped under the Imported Data group layer, if grids are imported they will be grouped under the OpenSpirit Grids group layer. For every imported data item a new feature class is created. The feature class name will be of the form: P_<data type>_<group by>; where the <group by> attribute is determined by the settings in the Data Preference dialog found under the Show/Edit Settings window.
