System Requirements

The minimum system requirements to run TIBCO Control Plane and data plane are listed here.

Kubernetes Compatibility

TIBCO Control Plane supports Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) certified Kubernetes platforms.

Database Requirements

Self-hosted TIBCO Control Plane supports the following database:

  • PostgreSQL 16

Note: You must enable the extension uuid-ossp in PostgreSQL before installing TIBCO Control Plane. For example, to enable the extension for Azure Kubernetes Service, see Azure documentation.

If manageDbSchema in Helm chart values is set to false, the chart does not manage database schemas. You must use the script provided in GitHub repository to create, upgrade, and delete databases externally. For more information, see PostgreSQL Database Management Script.

Helm Requirements

You must have Helm version 3.17.0 or later installed.

Browser Requirements

For TIBCO Control Plane, current versions of the following browsers are supported:

    • CPU: 4-core Processor

    • Memory: 8 GB RAM

    • Storage: 20 GB disk space

    • CPU architecture: x86_64

  • Ingress Controller

    • Inbound OpenTelemetry data and TEA agent leader election

    • Supported Ingress Controllers: NGINX, Traefik, OpenShift Container Platform router (For Control Tower data plane on OpenShift)

  • Host Storage Class

    • Persistence for Hawk Console

  • Observability backend resources for collecting OpenTelemetry data for TIBCO BusinessWorks applications

    • Metrics collection: Prometheus
